In the new ELS 27 device, the following has been added and changed
- Updated more comfortable design of the case;
- Changed the connector to Type C;
- Added an additional CAN line to pins 12 and 13: changed the protocol scheme and removed the jumper from pins 8-9 and 7-12, replaced the mechanical relay with a separate transceiver and added more CAN on line 12-13 (often found in Renault);
- FEPS in 13 pin, these are signals for switching electronic control units to programming mode, which was used for ECUs in Ford until 2011;
- Flashlight;In all other respects, ELS27 has remained exactly the same. Each device is also fully checked before sale and the warranty for them is also 1 year.
The main advantages and functionality of the adapter
- Fully compatible with ELM 327 and performs all its functionality;
- The scanner circuitry includes the STN 2120 processor from Scan Tools;
- Works in the KKL mode with vehicles in which diagnostics are carried out through the K and L lines;
- Supports all CAN buses, for this purpose there is a built-in multiplexer on the auto scanner board;
- Works at speeds of up to 8 Mbit.
